Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I am a 100% disabled veteran. I am rated 100% for ptsd and I was medically retired from the USMC. I am charged with possesion 5th degree and cultivating cannabis(46 grams). What can I do? I live in ny. It was for me to use. The public defender doesn't have time to call me back/talk to me. I haven't slept in 3 days over this. I have no crminal record.

Sir: Thank you for your service. Stop worrying ,get some sleep. That is more important than this case. It is almost certain that you are NOT going to jail.
