Murder in the second degree is an A felony, A felonies are the highest level of crime chargeable in NY state... The mandatory minimum sentence would be 15 to life and the maximum 25 to life.

If able to hire an attorney I would 100% recommend doing so, you may contact our office at 212.709.8303

Under New York State Law felony's range from A - E with A being the highest and most serious. You have been charged with Murder in the Second Degree, an A felony which can bring a sentence of between 15 and 25 to life. This means that if convicted or plead to, you will be in prison for a very long time.

You must get an experienced attorney and be prepared to defend yourself fully.

If you would like to discuss this further you can contact my office at 516.746.4747 or by e-mail at [email protected].
