Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I am 17 and my friend is 21. We became friends because my mother and his brother are married. There are no romantic feelings at all. My mother, however, has a strong dislike for my friend. She threatens to have him arrested if he continues to call and text message me. Can she really have him arrested for this?
