Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I am 17 years old and was caught shoplifitng in NYC with a friend who is 17 as well. our mirnada rights were not read and we have a court appearance very soon. she has a lawyer who will be with her on the court date but i dont. how will this affect me?
