The ACOD or ACD (Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal) begins from the date of your court appearance in which you were issued that disposition. It effectively acts as an adjournment, with the stipulation that the case will be dismissed if no other criminal complaints are issued against the defendant within a given period of time.
