Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

if i agreed to my sentence at the final hearing, then i signed the papers and after i did that... the judge added five years post release on to it. he never mentioned anything about post release before that. is that illegal and how can i prove that i should be off parole because of this. i do not need to be on it for five years just because a judge decided to add it on right after i signed the papers and that was not a part of the original plea deal. i need help so i can move on to my normal life. i will obtain a lawyer if i have a chance of getting off parole early like this.
