Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Arrest record
At age 17 I was arrested charged with endangering the welfare of a child, the charges were dismissed in court and the records sealed, but at age 44 I'm having trouble getting work in security or law enforcement. Am I considered a criminal and not eligible for law type jobs or can I fight this employment rejection?

Re: Arrest record
The best response may be to have the record erased. This can be done with a petition to the court. It is done on a regular basis and is not lengthy. You are welcome to a consultation at no fee at my offices at 42 West 44th St., NY,NY. Please call for an appointment first. (646) 591-5786
