I want to know if is legal to arrest the super of the building for supousely conspiracy with drugs dealers in the buildig. He knew they were selling drugs in the building and he knew they were detectives investigating because the management office told him they were working with the police to finish with the drug selling in the building, now he is been charge for conspiracy and the management office is saying they don't know nothing about it. I know he is inocent because he is not dumb enough to involve himself in something like that, please give me an advice on what to do.

Re: Arrested fo suppose cospiracy selling drugs
In a criminal case it is difficult to know if the arrest is legitimate at first, because there is just not enough information without speaking with the person who was arrested and seeing the specific allegations and police paperwork. As for advice the most important thing is for the person who was arrested to get an attorney experienced in criminal defense law.
He should make no statements to the police until he has an opportunity to consult with an attorney, otherwise anything he says can be used against him. Once he has been arrested it is not likely he will be able to talk his way out of it, so it is always best to have representation that can advise him on how to proceed in his defense. A defense attorney will also be able to take evidence that shows his innocence to the local district attorney's office in order to get the charges dropped.

We had a case like that and got our client off. The defendant should remain silent and call a lawyer immediately!
