Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I got arrested when I was 16, for graffiti, The judge ruled it a misdemeanor and said my attorney said if I stayed out of trouble for the next six months my record will be clean, Its been seven years now and I am wondering if I do in fact have a "CLEAN RECORD" ?

I am not sure what your "record would be clean" means. Did you get an "Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal," a "youthful offender" disposition? Typically, and Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal does not "disappear," but the case is ultimately dismissed, and that's what the record shows. If you received a youthful offender disposition, it is supposed to be sealed, but I have found that the authorities can find these things.
