Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i was arrested for 7 grams of mushrooms in new york state 7 months ago and still haven't received a court date. this is my first offense ever....help?

If you were arrested seven months ago, speedy trial time may have passed, requiring the case to be dismissed, since, on a felony of this type, they only have six months to bring case to trial, unless the time is waived. Speak to your lawyer immediately.
