Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I was arrested for petty larceny, $77 worth of merchandise from WalMart. I have arraignment tomorrow. Can they arrest me there, again? Will my fine be gigantic? Will I get jail time? I'm 19 with no criminal record.

There are so many different things that can happen at your arraignment and you need to provide more information in order to give you an adequate answer. That being said, here is a glimpse into answering your questions: you can be "processed" tomorrow which could include being put in cuffs and finger printed; the court may set bail which means you could be incarcerated if you cannot post bail; if you have a good lawyer, your case maybe resolved on the spot.
