Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I've been arrested of shoplifting and my court date is in June. I am foreign and in the USA on a tourist visa. I have a ticket to go back home before my court date, I would change my ticket but I have no money and I have no one to send me money. I have stolen $30 worth of merchandise. I am trying to reschedule my court date, but I don't know what should I do if it doesn't work. What would happen if I just leave the USA and never come back? Can that have an impact on me getting a visa for other countries?
Thank you for your help

Hire an attorney to handle this for you. I just handled a similar case for a student in Boston and I went to court for him so he did not miss school. His case is going to be dismissed and sealed.
