arson in the 3rd ny

if a ower of a propeity ( barn) not being used be charged for arson in the 3rd if he speacks to anothe person about burning it down and he does then the fire damages more then just the barn and damages two other houses , when i read arson in the 3rd it had a good defence about tthe owner beable to do so in other words.(?) is what charges can the owner get?

Arson is a very serious matter and is a felony. There are different degrees of arson, partially deliniated by whether it is a residence, and if the residence is occupied.

It is no defense that you did not mean that the fire would spread to other structures.

Before you do anything, you should hire a good criminal lawyer.

There may even be insurance issues which come into play.
