Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I was attacked by my neighbor because as she claims, she was tired of me acting like I own the dwelling in which we live. I was having cameras installed by my entrance only and the driveway that is utilized by me only, with my landlords permission and she didnot like it. I live on the 1st floor, she lives on the 2nd and we have seperate entrances on two different streets (its a corner house). She attacked me in front of my gate and i defended myself and somehow she had some scratches on her neck. I called the cops who arrested us both because of the scratches. I have 2 witnesses who are total strangers and are willing to go to court with me. I work with the city of NY and was suspended because of the arrest. It is my first arrest ever and i've never ever been in trouble with the law before. What do you think would be the outcome of this case.

Probably both parties will be allowed to withdraw their cases against the other.

You should not expect jail time, but it would be highly recommended to have an experienced lawyer with you defending you and preserving your rights in court. It would also greatly increase the chance of lowering the charges or possible dismissal. We have substantial experience handling these types of cases and reasonable fees, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination.
