Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
bail was set and a bail bond was aquired yet the person wasn't released yet...DA says she wants to keep him as long as possible but bail was posted....there was also mention of 72 hour assurance...please help if bail was posted how come he hasn't been released yet?

If his bail has been paid then he should be released. You might want to discuss this with his attorney. Also you might check with the bail bonds person to make sure it was paid and see if there is a receipt for this from the court. If the District Attorney asked for a hold you him by the court for some reason that the judge agreed to, that should be in the court record. Definitely you need to discuss this with his attorney.
