Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Bench Warrant
was issued (to my son) in SC for failure to comply (go to court or pay fine) to minor possession of beer. We live in NY. Will this follow (my son) to NY? How serious is this?

Re: Bench Warrant
It can and if it does, NY may hold him in jail till SC says they are not coming to get him. That could take over two (2)weeks. Hire a SC lawyer and have him pull the warrant plead guilty and pay the ticket.
GOod Luck.
