Bench Warrent in another state

I'am about to recive a bench warrent in ny I live in florida .. Unfortunalty I can not get the the other state for a 2nd court hearing. Iv'e went once already

Iam homless and can not travel.

I have no prior arrest record . And would go if i was able to .

Will NY extradite me out of florida cause of bench warrent ?

It really depends upon the case you are charged with. If it is a non serious misdemeanor or traffic matter it is unlikely that New York would go to the trouble or expense of extradition. If on the other hand it is a more serious felony matter, then NY is likely to bring you back there. Many warrants in fairly minor cases have geographic limitations on them, that is by the terms of the warrant an arrest for it will only take place within a certain state or even some times within certain counties or municipalities. Once the warrant is issued you can find this out by calling the clerk of the court in the county where the warrant was issued.
