Depending on time offered in the plea bargain, your boyfriend can be released when the sentencing takes place if he has served at least 2/3 of the sentence. But if he has been in jail since April and the case has not been settled or gone to trial by now you may want to consider talking to his attorney or if they are not talking to you the getting him a different attorney.

You say he hasn't been sentenced. Has he even gone to trial? Sounds like he is awaiting trial on Rikers. If convicted on the robbery, he would not likely remain on Rikers. He probably has a lawyer, so call him or her.
