Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
My brother was killed in a correctional facility and i was told that my mother do not have legal right to pursuit an investigation..we were told it could only be done by the mother of his child

A better solution would be for the executor of his estate to pursue a legal action. Letter of administration of his estate can be filed with the Surrogate Court.
