how someone gets charged with burgalary when it didn't happen
My friend is charged with a felony burglary and misdemeanor assault after being let into someone's home and then proceeding to beat her up.
How can you be charged with burgalary when that did not happen

That is an issue for trial. Your friend would be wise to be represented by an attorney.
