Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I am being charged with grand larceny for a missing wallet. The wallet was never found it had credit cards in it that is why the charge is grand larceny. It was lost at my job and I was the last person seen with it on camera. I am 43 yrs old with no prior record. The investigator said that was the charge when he came to see me. I have not been arrested or formally charge just told I would receive a appearance notice in the mail in about two weeks to face a charge. I would like to know my options.

Retain a competent criminal defense attorney before you do anything else. If the situation is as stated, you are facing felony charges ,which carry possible jail time as well as a permanent criminal record. A competent attorney will in this case ,if the facts are as alleged ,be able to help you avoid jail and likely avoid a felony plea or conviction.I handle matters such as yours on a regular basis ,so you may contact my office @7188340087 to set up a consultation.

We have substantial experience handling these types of cases, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination.
