Charged with harrassment

What happens if u are provoked verbally and the person provoked pushes the other person on the ground? Can a defense be built if the person who pushed admitted it in his statement to PO?

So what you are saying is that you pushed the other person because of what they said to you? If that is true, then it is no defense, that their "words" annoyed you, in any legal technical sense. The DA will argue that "sticks & stones"...... but in all honesty, it depends on alot more than just that. Call a lawyer.
