Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I have been charged with my 2nd dwi, felony auo, and I'm a convicted felon. I was not the driver, nor was I in the car when the police arrived. the car went into a snow bank, someone called 911, the driver was intoxicated and left saying was going for help. I was also intoxicated (bac .12), complied completely, and even blew because I was not the driver. Now I am facing 2 felony charges and need advice. I don't have hardly any $ because I work on concrete and am seasonal, so I need free advice as I also only have a public defender.
