Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
i was charged with petit larceny in New York. i have already agreed to pay back what i took in the form of restitution. this is my first criminal offense and i dont know if i need legal representation when i go to court. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you should have representation. The charge is a misdemeanor and a criminal conviction in NYS has many consequences.
