Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Not sure if I chose the correct area of law, but here goes:
pending scenario: A young adult receives court-appointed community service. Doesn't like the work and has someone falsify records to say he/she is transferring the service to a different non-profit that does not actually offer community service opportunities. The "boss" at the non-profit allows this and is a part of falsifying the records. Is this considered contempt of court and who is most responsible?

It is more than contempt, several criminal charges can be charged including falsifying public records. Both parties will be responsible and the young adult is facing the most severe penalties.
