confused about court dates and wrong information on the papers work

had a fight with another 16 yr old girl.it was quick, we were fine.girl went later to file a complaint. officers arrested me for assault, green appearance ticket they gave me that night had the date to appear in court, but had the wrong arrest date on it ,and the letter i received in the mail 3 days later to appear in court has a different court date and the wrong year i was born. never had to go to court before what one do i go to?

Not sure where you live, but there is a website you can look up your court dates on: https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/webcrim_attorney/Login

Login as a guest and follow the directions to look up a case. Insert your name and the county you were arrested in. If it is not there you may have a warrant out for your arrest. If you don't find yourself there, go to the courthouse and see the court clerk for further assistance right away. It is better to clear the warrant yourself than to be re arrested for it.

Now assault is a serious crime. Why don't you have a lawyer?
