Re: contacted by detective

If you are referring to a police detective contacting you then I would retain a criminal defense attorney and say nothing. You need to sit down with an attorney to make sure you are fully protected, otherwise anything you say can be used against you and there is the potential for criminal charges. Please feel free to contact my office if we can be of some assistance.

Re: contacted by detective

DO NOT MEET WITH THIS DETECTIVE WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY! They always say they just want to talk but if they call, 99% of the time they want to arrest you.

Re: contacted by detective

You do not say if the detective is a police officer or not but it really doesn't matter. Unless he works FOR YOU (not your employer) he will take everything you say and use it against you.

Often people say things that they think will help them. Often they are telling the truth, however the police have other evidence that could show these truthful people to look like liars.

Get a lawyer PRONTO. ONly a lawyer can properly help you. Additionally he can make the police and detective stop harassing you.

I am located on Long Island. If you want to speak to me about representing you, feel free to give me a call or follow the links below.

Good luck, (and keep your mouth SHUT!!)
