Contracted STD from Married Man

I was involved with a man for approx 6 months when he revelaed he was married and that he has had numerous affairs thruout 18 yrs of marriage. He spoke of one affair where the woman developed cervial cancer from HPV virus. I was just diagnosed with HPV lesions that I never had before. Can I sue this man for not telling me about the HPV until after we had sexual relations many times? I am uninsured and have costly lab and doctor bills now. He is also married and I feel that his wife needs to know. Is it criminal in NY to tell the wife about his infidelity and the HPV?

You may have a claim. However, i would not advise you to tell her anything until you meet with an attorney and discuss whether you would like to continue a lawsuit or not.
