Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

i was convicted in n.y.c. for stock fraud and money laundering for a crime i commited in 1996-1998.I served 2 years in aprison camp from2004-2006. im currently trying to go to school for radiation therapy. can i get into this field with this conviction
