Re: cops keeps calling

The police have no authority to give you any deal, it is a tactic regularly used by the police to get information on other possible suspects... the information you may have would be beneficial to your own case, it is not something you may want to simply give away if it could poentially assist you in your own case.

If you have an attorney direct he police's calls to your attorney, if you have an attorney and inform the police of this it is illegal for them to continue contacting you...

much luck, feel free to conact my office at the email address below, or visit our website at [email protected] for more information

Re: cops keeps calling

You should discuss this with your attorney; if I were you, I would advise the cop to contact your attorney and to stop calling you.

Re: cops keeps calling

Legal? Probably nothing actually illegal but improper and out of the ordinary . . . yes. You should speak to an attorney and have all communications go through the attorney or be done in his/her presence. Right now you are most likely getting NO credit for your help no matter what b.s. story the cop is selling you.
