i have to appear in court tomorrow for a menacing charge pl 120.14 I have never been in trouble. 1 speeding ticket i can not afford an attorney do i need one can i get a court appointed

Menacing is a class A misdemeanor for which if convicted you face up to one year in jail. As such, if you cannot afford an attorney one will be appointed for you.
