Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
This is a credit card collections question. An unidentified man dropped off some photcopied legal looking papers on the ground in front of my door of my house. They say that I am being sued for amounts owed from a credit card and give the amounts owed without any details. What should I do and should I be concerned?

Without seeing what the papers say, it is difficult to determine if the paper are legitimate or a scam. If they are real, there would be an index number and a court. I suggest you call the court and give the index number to the clerk.
