Old criminal case info
I've obtained the Indictment number of a criminal case dating back 1988, how can I obtain more information or get access to that certain case online

There are several ways to get more information, but none of them include 'online'.
1. Go to the original court where the case was heard and request a copy of the 'court file'.
2. Go to the NY State Library in Albany and request the complete file.
The NY State Library is more likely to have access to a 1988 case.
