Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Criminal Case
Is it true that if the jury returns early from deliberating, most likely a guilty verdict will be read? And vice versa--that a not guilty verdict will be read, if the jury takes a long time to reach a verdict? Is that true, or just a rumor?
