If an employee of a company assaults an employee from another company, Is that company responsible for that person's actions? 2 diffrent contractors on a job site-

In addition, you must carefully analyze all of the facts to determine whether you are opening yourself to an action, as well. Undoubtedly the person you sue will counterclaim (sue you) claiming it was your fault. All of that may place your job at stake. For all of the reasons you have been given, seek the advice of a few attorneys before making any decision.

Very possibly. It depends on what they knew about their employee and when they knew it. It also depends on what they did to protect themselves from negligent hiring.
