Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

criminal matter

my brother was arrested for consperecy b with content to sell cocain and was sentenced to 1 1/2 to 4 years he is now serving his time . some how in the paper work there is a 1/2 a year added on to his time making it 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 years . no one in the court system will help me straighten this matter out . what can i do to get the papers i need from a different source. no one will help me.

You should order a copy of the minutes from the sentencing and see what the Judge says. You should also look in the court file and see what the court papers say.
