Is criminal mischief (NY Penal Law 145.00 or 145.10) a crime involving dishonesty?

Without having any facts in your case, looking at those two statutes for criminal mischief that you asked about (145.00 and 145.10) there only appears to be property damage or other damage involved. I'm not sure what you mean about involving dishonesty. A criminal record of any sort can sometimes be used to impeach a person as a witness, although in the case of honesty it is unlikely that criminal mischief would hold much weight.
