Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Criminal Mischief 4th degree
My 15 year old son was just given an appearence ticket to appear in family court on a charge of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree. He ran from police and he went through a basement window in a apartment complex allegedly causing damage to the screen and blinds the damage was less than 100.00 dollars. He also has an outstanding ticket for petit larceny which he needs to appear in Youth Court on Feb 5, 2009. My question is how much trouble is he in and should I hire a lawyer ???
