Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
can a criminal order of protection show up on background checks for employment? and is it a legal cause for rescinding an employment offer?

If this was a court order and the order against you then it can show up on a background check. Was the employment offered based on a clean background check? If so, then they can probably rescind the offer legally.
