How long does a criminal record stays on your record, and how can you sealed it if possible. How can you tell an employer about it?

The record of a misdemeanor and of a felony remains on your record forever. To have it expunged (or sealed), you need to apply for a Certificate of Relief From Disabilities -- at the court where you were convicted.
