criminal sales of a controled substance

what kind of sentence can i get? and can i hear the tape they have of me selling to someone?

Assuming a small amount of cocaine, crack or heroin, the maximun sentence is 8 and 1/3 to twenty five years, the minimum is 1 to 3 years, but a plea bargain can reduce it to probation, a likely outcome in New York City for a first offender. Your sentence depends on your age, past record, location and efforts at rehabilitation. You are entitled to hear the tape after indictment.

It depends upon what degree of sale you are

charged with, although I would bet that

at a minimum you could see 8 1/3 to 25 years

Yes, you are entitled to listen to the tapes

but only after you are indicted
