Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
what does it really mean when the D A is giving offers before going to trial, does it mean take what were giving you because there pretty confident they will win the case or is it a bluff like the D A isnt ready, like what are the statistics, which side does it favor???

usually DAs make offers before trial in almost every case because the system cannot handle trials if all defendants demanded trials. Sometimes, however, an offer that appears too good to be true is an indication that the case is weak.
Good question, but Iwould not want to answer it without knowing the facts and circumstances of the case. It is too much of a gamble to try to read DA's mind.
When it comes to any criminal matter, it is important to hire an experienced attorney.
