Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
When a DA combines two cases, if convicted by trial, what does happens to the sentencing? is it combined as well? This is a New York criminal case.

Unless there is a common element the offenses, and unless plea bargained, a person who is convicted can get consecutive jail time.
