Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
My dad is on parole and has been accused of a felony he was arrained and went back for the inditement where the grand jury came back with no compelling evidence, he is being held on a parole hold now awaiting a parole hearing and a new court date, being he was not indited and is only being held now because of the parole hold why would there be another court date and if there was found to be no compelling evidence with the grand jury how will this affect the parole hearing?
