Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Dating A Minor

Ok there is a case against me! sexual abuse. I'm a girl and the victim is a girl ( victim age is 14 and I 18 ) police arrest me but i didn't stay in jail. (the charged are misdemeanor A 1 count and Misdemeanor b 3rd degree 1 count ) The victim said the truth and that we only kissed. The prosecutor said that I won't spend jail time but If I contact the victim The case would get worse. There is a temporary protection order. My question is if everything is ok what are the risk that the police are monitored my calls?

social service is involved ( she's my cousin ) and I'm going to criminal & family court.

The original charges are serious but not quite so serious as to involve jail time for a first offender. There is also the possibility that an experienced criminal defense attorney can help you avoid a criminal record. That being said should you violate any of the conditions of the order of protection, then all bets are off, you will be facing felony charges with a real possibility of a jail sentance. Stay away from your minor friend. For more information you may contact my office @7188340087 to set up a consultation.

STAY AWAY... if anyone even remotely makes an accustion of you violating the order of protection you may be rearrested, and the violation of the order of protection would then be a felony... which you could face time for...

I would suggest you keep your distance and abode by the order of protection, as far as monitoring your calls they could very easily request a transcript of either one of your cell phones or house phones and confirm communication - or any perosn may simply make a statement of your violation of the order, and this would be enough for you to be rearrested...

much luck!

stay way!
