Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Definition of nyccpl 155.35 & 155.30
I request the definitions of 2 criminal procedure laws (155.35) & (155.30) of the nyccpl as I am not a lawyer and need this information to represent myself in court. Are they both felonies or is one a misdemeanor?

NY Penal Law 155.35 and 155.30
I assume you mean the Penal Law as there is no provision in the CPL you mentioned. PL155.35 is Grand Larcenyin the 3d degree, a D Felony. PL155.30 is GrandLarceny in the 4th degree, is an E Felony. YOUNEED AN ATTORNEY and one will be appointed for youif you cannot afford one. If you are a secondfelony offender, and are convicted you will receivea prison term.
