Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

dna samles

My brother has been accused of raping a minor and she got pregnant. She got an abortion but kept the fetal remains for DNA. He turned himself in and submitted his DNA. If the DNA from the baby is not his, will he be exonerated?

Re: dna samles

My belief is no 2 individuals have the exact same DNA. HOWEVER I believe an analysis can be accomplished by a DNA expert which would make the probabilities pretty high that a person is the father.

DO NOT HOLD ME TO THIS. What is most important, is that your attorney conference this case with an appropriate DNA expert. Remember, your lawyer is just that, a lawyer, and we must rely on experts in the field for our specialized scientific information. I have handled many sex crimes cases and would not go into court on a case like this without an expert. Feel free to call me at 646-209-8213 or e-mail me at [email protected] to discuss this matter further.

While I know this is a NY criminal matter, which I handle, you may view the website I use for my court-martial clients at www.courtmartialbrand.com to see what services I render.

Good luck.
