In Mar I had another fight with my wife call the, cop they came out but did not do any arrest. 2 month after the fight Im now finding out that my wife complaint to the Police Department about mishandling of the situation, so they came out took a statement from her and now I hear, they are waiting for the prosecutor and judge to sign off and issue an arrest warrant for me, can you please help in what to do and what will happen to me. Also in these cases how much can they set a bond and what are the penalties of violating a protective order

Re: Domestic Violence charges

Generally, issues of violation of a protective order are more serious than the charge itself. If i were you I would primarily either hire an attorney ASAP to handle your previous case, and possible new case, and then attempt to have an arrest warrant stopped before it is issued - and if it is issued protect you to the point where bail would not be major issue at all...

My office would be happy to give you a free phone consultation to further discuss this matter, and if you feel you need further representation we would be prepared to take this case on

Re: Domestic Violence charges

You should hire an attorney ASAP. Do not wait for the police to arrest you. Do not make any statements without speaking with an attorney first. Please feel free to contact my office if we may be of any assistance.
