driving

What is the penalty for driving on a suspended lic. and when pulled over gave the name of someone else? this is in New york.

This is a difficult question because there are a variety of laws alledgeldly violated. The Suspded license penaly may typically be a fine, but may also more than that if this is habitual behavior, the false name is another crime in and of itself. Generally, the charge on such a case is a misdemeanor... However, with a good attorney it could be brought down to a lesser charge which may not even leave a criminal record.
