Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

drug conviction charge - part two

Hi - Thanks for the answers, got more information from the NY court.

My husband was convicted in 1992 of criminal sale of control sub 5 (a class D felony), he pled guilty and served 5 years probation.

So, question is: is there any way to seal, reduce or expunge the conviction?

Does this conviction show up on the MA CORI background check needed to volunteer at my daughter's schools? Is this conviction something that will show up if - for example - he is stopped for speeding?

In NY can a class D felony convict vote and perform jury duty?

Thanks for your responses, I've had no luck researching this on the internet. Joanna

Your husband can order a copy of his CORI from the state's department of probation. There is a form on their web site.
